I am originally from
Paw Paw, West Virginia. In December 2004, I graduated
with a B.S. in environmental studies from Shepherd University.
In May 2005,
I moved to Alaska to start field work with my major advisor Trish
Wurtz.
I am currently an LTER graduate student seeking my Master’s
degree in natural
resource management. My thesis focuses on issues pertaining to
invasive
plant ecology, specifically, the affect of white
sweetclover on the colonization success of native riparian plant
species.
